**You are registering for a RECORDED VIRTUAL cookie class!**
 
Once you register for the class, you will receive an email with the workbook that you can download. You will also receive a separate email with an invitation to join a private Facebook group (Cookie Class with Karen May 2023 CAMPING) and will have access to a RECORDED CLASS.
 
This class is suitable for both beginner and intermediate cookiers. You will have the opportunity to ask questions in our private Facebook group and there will be additional supports in the workbook with beginners in mind. The class will be focused on getting right into decorating!
 
You will learn how to decorate five cookies:
camp fire
grill
sign
trailer
truck
 
Techniques we'll cover in class:
Working with medium consistency icing for both outlining and flooding
Using tipless bags
Wet on wet techniques
Wood grain technique
Royal icing transfers
Flooding sections to add dimension
 
Before class you will be responsible for:
Mixing the dough and baking the cookies
Making, coloring and bagging the icing to a medium consistency
Purchasing all ingredients and tools such as cookie cutters, sprinkles, ingredients, etc--I provide links for all in the workbook

Bio of the instructor:
Karen is a self-taught cookier and the owner of Custom Cookies By Karen in Elkridge, Maryland. She taught kindergarten for 33 years and loves the ability to combine both her passions (teaching and cookie decorating) to offer these virtual classes. Karen retired and made the jump to full-time cookier in July 2022.
