Sprinkling sweetness one cookie at a time! 

Hi!  I am Karen Lightfield of Custom Cookies by Karen.  I began decorating sugar cookies with my brothers, sisters and cousins as a young child.  Nanny (my grandmother) would gather her grandchildren together to bake and decorate Christmas cookies and it was one of the holiday traditions that we never skipped!  I am a recently retired kindergarten teacher in the Howard County area and cookies are the way I can sprinkle sweetness throughout my community! I hope to carry out this tradition with my daughter for years and years to come.  I look forward to baking for you!!
